I am pleased to be apart of the efforts of this organization. I feel that some of our focus will be finding a way to introduce communication and alternative energy technologies into the lives of people in third world countries. I believe it is essential to their survival. They must have a voice that is heard on an international level and they must be able to hear the voices of other nations in order to understand the rapid progression of the world they live in. They must understand the environmental impacts and possible solutions.

We can only guess at the needs of others if they cannot tell us what they are. In guessing, we often misinterpret, and acting on that misinterpretation we may cause more damage. I want to see the satellite, solar array, and laptop project established. I can only imagine the effects of this type of knowledge and empowerment for the students at Lekol Pa Nou and beyond.
