Liné (nicknamed "Loulou") Balthazar speaking with a friend during a meeting in East Lansing, MI. Loulou and his wife, Nadia, are a key collaborators linking Pichon and North American collaborators. Loulou (an agronomist on staff at the University of Notre Dame, in Haiti) and Nadia (an attorney and internationally certified Montessori trainer) along with other colleagues, formed a Haitian non-profit organization called FREM (Fondation Pour Le Relevement du Milieu Rural). FREM receives and administers funds from Education for Prosperity for use in Pichon.
